Spotify keeps pausing: If you use Spotify, you might have recently encountered a really annoying and apparently common bug. In the playlist, artist or album you are listening to (whether on my iPhone, Mac or Android Spotify will pause all or two songs and I have to press Play to continue.
You can try to clear the cache, uninstalling and, reinstall Spotify or pretty much everything you can think of. I finally found the right solution, so if Spotify keeps pausing you, here’s what to do.
- Go to Spotify.com and sign in. On the Account Review page, scroll down and click the “Sign Out Everywhere” button.
- This will force sign you out from all instances of Spotify on all your devices.
- Open Spotify on your smartphone or computer and sign in again.
- Now, Spotify should work normally. For some reason, logging out from everywhere forces it you to reset something what by doing manually does not.
