Skyrim failed to initialise renderer:
For all who does not know what Skyrim really is, well, it is one of the highest rated RPG game out there on the steam platform.
Some users have been reporting on reddit that there is an initialising issue that failed the launch of the game.
Don’t worry because in the article, we will be solving the issue with some easy steps.

Some fixes to the issue
- Setting the resolution
Sometimes, wrong and incompatible resolution of the game may stop it from loading. To check if it is the case,
- Open the launcher.
- Choose options and open display settings.
- Check PC’s resolution and match it with the game’s resolution.
- Press the apply button and restart the game.
- Playing the game in windowed mode
Try playing the game in the windowed mode to be sure.
- Open the settings.
- Select the windowed option.
- Apply to save the setting and press ok.
- Deleting two game files
- Open the file explorer.
- Open the steam’s directory.
- Delete all of the files and move to Skyrim’s folder.
- Find Skyrim.ini and SkyrimPrefs.ini and delete them.
- Restart the game.
- Updating graphics drivers
One of the causes of this issue may be the outdated graphics Drivers which are causing crashes during launch.
One can update the drivers manually from the driver properties else you can also install Driver Easy software which automatically detects and updates the drivers.
- Download from here.
- Run the file and wait till installation.
- Click the Scan Now option and let it scan for a while.
- After it has done scanning, click the Update button to automatically begin installing the correct and up-to-date drivers.
- Then, it will ask to update for Pro version.
- Buy and update all the drivers.
If the problem still persists, follow the next procedure.
Final call
If none of the above fixes trends to work, disable the mod files from the Skyrim options and delete all of them.
